What we collect
When you register through the event registration form on our website, we receive the details you submit: your first and last name, email address, job title and company.
Why we use it
- To register you for the event, confirm your place, and send you practical information (legal basis: taking steps at your request to register you).
- To add you to our mailing list for hospitality professionals and send you news about Sarah-Linda's collections, events and services. Registering includes this, as stated on the form, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email (legal basis: our legitimate interest in professional communications related to your work).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our website, the event and our communications, such as Shopify, which hosts our website and sends our emails. These providers process your data on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside the European Economic Area; when that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep registration data for up to 12 months after the event. We keep your contact details on our mailing list until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in each email. To use any of these rights, write to info@sarah-linda.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
