SUSTAINABILITY

1 % For The Planet

We're a proud member of 1% For The Planet. Through their organisation we donate 1% of every sale to non-profits working on regenerative agriculture and the regeneration of our soils. We want to do much more. This is a start.

True luxury is walking barefoot in the grass while inhaling that herby scent. Taking a bite from a freshly picked peach, the sweet, flavorful juice running over your chin and the soft skin caressing your fingers. It’s a beautifully dressed table and delicious food cooked with love, with produce from the garden.

It's a feeling of freedom, it’s breathtaking landscapes, a blossoming tree and a forest full of life. It’s produce with real flavor, feeling alive, natural epicureanism.

It’s a laugh with friends and a healthy planet with fertile soils to provide us with these luxuries. Our planet is the source of all life, of all food and all pleasure. We’re committed to keeping our soils fertile and our planet healthy.

OUR VALUES

Epicureanism

We are a resolutely epicurean brand. We believe beauty and inspiration make you feel alive. We strive to bring that art de vivre, joy, pleasure and a touch of marvel to your everyday moments. We want you and us to live a beautiful and healthy life.

OUR VALUES

Design

Our design philosophy is rooted in tactility and inspired by nature. Our objects are made to be touched. Layered materiality, textures, sensual forms and the perfect imperfections of natural shapes make up the essence of our work. We always strive for the highest quality and are dedicated to every detail.

OUR VALUES

Care

We deeply care. About our planet, our soils, our people and the humans we work with. It’s a personal affair. This adventure started with the desire to re-connect people with their food and to create more awareness around our food system. Founder Sarah-Linda Forrer is involved in every detail and every relationship is important. Every human and every order counts. Read more about our commitment to the planet below.

SUSTAINABILITY

Every meal is a vote, make it count.

"Mother Earth has always been important to me. When I was 10 years old, I sent a letter to the president of France (then Jacques Chirac), with a drawing to tell him that something had to be done about pollution, and he was the one with the power to take action and change something.
I received a thank you letter back from the Champs Elysées, saying that the environment was very important to them and they really appreciated my concerns. But I didn’t see any immediate action being taken from their side, so I started donating my little 10 year old pocket money to Greenpeace, hoping they would save the world.

Over time, my worries have only gotten bigger. About the planet, nature and wildlife, and more so about one of the biggest root causes of climate change and soil destruction: the current food system. It’s a very large and very complicated problem, but I strongly believe we can improve the situation by changing what we eat and supporting regenerative agriculture.

Our future, our health and pleasure and the flavours of our food depend on the health of our soils.”

PEOPLE

We’re very grateful to the skilled humans crafting our products.

We’re well acquainted with the manufactory in Limoges, and it goes without saying that the social conditions are good, fair, French. One of the reasons we chose to produce in France – aside from quality, is transparency and the close relationship with the people who do the work.

We regularly visit the manufactory, we know the artisans and we work with them closely for every new product development. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
